Let's back up a bit...
Before Courtney's competition and Disney trip (already blogged) we had a couple of birthday parties.
First we celebrated the Russell boys birthdays. The kids played pin the arm on Woody (come on, you remember Toy Story right? Woody's arm gets torn off. Very tragic for the ol cowboy). The kiddos and even Mary's mom, jumped on the trampoline. Some got pretty brave and did some fancy back flips (Kaleb, Connor and Courtney). Cass and Ash climbed a wall that led to a dirt field behind the Russell's house. Cass found it harder to get back over the block wall but have no fear...BRETT was near. He was Cassie's hero for the day. Such a fun day!

The next week we celebrated Cassie's birthday. Cass loved the new Alice in Wonderland movie so I thought I would make that her theme. Being reminded that she "was not a little kid anymore",(Sorry Cass, you'll always be my little girl.) I went easy on the decorations and games. We had the party at our church because there is so much more room there. The kids were able to bring their bikes, skates and skateboards. The guys played some serious basketball. I bet they slept good that night. Katie(cousin from OH) was able to come to the Russell's and Cassie parties. She was here for the spring training games. Between her and Kat (cousin), there was plenty of entertainment for us all. Love them!

I have to share with you, my favorite picture from the party......
Little Drake wants to play ball too! The boys are all into their game and Drake is just waiting for them to clear out so he can make a shot. This is my nephew Caleb. He HATES getting his picture taken (at least by Aunt Jeni). Caleb too had a March birthday. He is now 12!

Fun times. My memory card crashed and I lost the photos from the Twinkies and Quinn's party. But thank heavens for all us March birthday kids and more parties!
You caught some real KODAK moments
at Cassaroo's party. I'm counting on you to do most of the photography in Puerto Rico!
