Music to our ears...

Here's a little peek at what the kids have been doing in their spare time.......

Courtney practicing piano. She has a recital next month.

Cassie practicing the violin. She is now in her third year of violin.

Connor reading.

We had parent teacher conferences last week and all three are doing very well in school. The girls are getting straight A's and Connor is doing great in Kindergarten (they don't get letter grades). The teachers had only great things to say about the kids! Courtney had a teacher or two point out her maturity level which is above most Jr highers. She also had a couple youth leaders in our church say that they wish she could move up to the high school group because she was more mature than the kids in her group. Patrick had to ask if it was Courtney G. that they were talking about because as you know we get to see her true colors shine at home. The good reports about the kids was music to our ears! We are proud of them!

Cassie is waiting for basketball try-outs to start at her school and Connor is still trying to choose between football and basketball. He went to a couple of his cousin Quinn's basketball games and was very excited to start playing. A few weeks ago he found out he weighs enough to play football and now can't decide which he should play.

They girls are in the church Christmas program along with their cousins Ashleigh and Quinn. They have been faithfully practicing every week. Courtney and Quinn are actors in the play and Cassie and Ashleigh are singers and dancers. Connor and Mikaila were too young to try out this year. So, they will be in the crowd with us parents and their grandparents cheering them on!
