Connor stayed home from school today and Cassie came home from school sick. Patrick had classes tonight and Courtney had plans with Wyatt. So, it was just me and the two sick kiddos. We made caramel apples and hot chocolate, tried to find a Halloween movie, colored in really old coloring books and passed out candy to the trick or treaters. There were no good Halloween shows on so we setteled on "The Flintstones meet Frankenstone" or something like that. It was a pretty quiet night.

Patrick had a 15 page paper due today. He, his papers and his books have taken over the living room.

How fun making carmel apples, they looked good. Will have to try that with my kids. Nice costume Courtney. Is Patrick going to school? What for. We found on Netflix Shrek/Monsters V aliens Halloween show.. kids loved it.
I am very proud of Patrick for his efforts to continue his education. He is giving your children a fine example of the "Can Do" attitude!
