When I was a preschool teacher we would have "circle time" at the beginning of class. This was a time where we would say the pledge, put the new date on the calendar, find out what the children's new class job would be and we would chart the weather. We had a poster that said, today is... at the top and it displayed pictures of all types of weather on it. The kids would take turns pointing the arrow to the picture that best described that day's weather. In Phoenix, the arrow would be pointing to the "sunny day" picture about 95% of the time. How thrilled was the child who was able to finally move the arrow to the "rainy day" picture. So, here's a shout out to all the children who got to move the arrow to the "rainy day" picture these past couple of days! And...here's a shout out to all those teachers who survived indoor recess today! And another shout out to all you parents who warmed up little toes after your child came home with wet pant legs, socks and shoes because your kiddo jumped in every puddle possible from their classroom door all the way to their bus, car or house. Connor is enjoying his cocoa now.

Mmmmmmm, nothing like hot chocolate on a cold rainy day! Hope he had some marshmallows in it!
Grandma Donna
Nothing like a rainy day after many, many sunny ones. Just something intriguing about 'em. Love the photos!
