December 24th...

Christmas Eve was at our house this year (for the Gibbs side of the family). The night started with a candle light service at our church. Once again it was under the stars. Connor got to be on the stage while Pastor Bob preached. He is child #2 in the photo below (...all is calm all is bright).

After church we headed to our house for dinner and gifts. In that order too! The kids hate it. You can hear them huff and puff and sigh when the adults go back for seconds. Usually Connor and Caleb will play a little one on one football to pass the time. This is why they both are wearing undershirts in the collage below.

The kids all did very well in the gift department. Connor wanted one thing for Christmas... catchers gear. He was very excited when he got it. He also got a catchers mitt and video games. The girls got girlie stuff like make up, earrings, and hair products. They each got a camera too.

And in case you were wondering.....

...Yes Virginia, there is a Santa Claus!
