Easter 09.....

...was pretty fine!

It's always good to be able to visit with the family and friends!

The day started at 6:30 am with a very excited 8 year old boy dying to find his Easter basket. After the baskets are found, inspected and the contents tasted, we get ready for church. I'm bummed that I didn't get a picture of the kids dressed up. Connor actually wore a tie (his choice). He's a basketball shorts and t-shirt kinda guy. If Grandma Donna snapped a picture of them, I'll post it later. After church mom, the Russell's, Patrick's parents and some friends of ours headed to our house. We had a yummy lunch, a nice swim in the pool and an egg hunt. We had beautiful weather here, not too hot but not cold. The last I heard the temp was supposed to be in the mid to high 70's. Not sure what we topped out at but it was a gorgeous day. We did have to heat the pool a bit. And for those of us who did not get wet, the breeze was just right. Later that day, Patrick's sister and her family were able to join us. All the kids had school in the morning so we had to call it an early night which meant no time for games :(. Maybe next weekend!
