Long time no update!

I finally have a few minutes to myself so I thought I might try to update our page.

The kids have finished school with flying colors and are busy with their summer activities. Connor is on dive team again this summer. He is doing very well. Even though he has mixed feelings about being on team this summer, he goes out there and gives it his all. So far, his all got him first place at his first two meets. Cassie too had mixed feelings about being on swim team this summer. Cassie is pretty tough on herself and doesn't like it when she's "not the best". She is doing very well on the team. We are very proud of her. So far she has brought home a few third and fourth place ribbons. Every meet is a learning experience for Cassie she now races 50 meters instead of 25, which has been an adjustment for her.

Next week I hope to post another blog that will include pictures from the dive and swim meets, Courtney's 8th grade promotion, and Courtney's mission trip to Carbo, Mexico. Until then, enjoy the pictures below. They're just a glimps of what has been happening with us the past couple of months.

Connor and Cassie both played basketball this spring. Here's daddy giving Cass some "gentle guidance". They both played for the Jr. Suns. (but on different teams).



Connor loses tooth number two!

Cassie played Juliet in a play that her advanced reading class did. She's quite the actor!





And last but not least we would like to introduce our newest family member.......Marlie!
And yes, we have learned that there is no such thing as a free dog! Marlie had her first visit (at least w/ us) to the vet to get her shots and to get spayed. She has recovered well. She was 8 months when we got her and she is now about 9 1/2 months. She is a Blue Heeler/Jack Russell Terrier mix. We are having lots of fun with her.
